Welcome to the Christmas/Winter Holiday Blog Hop! If you've arrived from Linda Callahan's Stampin' Seasons, I'm stop number 4 on the hop! Today's project also coincides with my monthly Christmas Creations Countdown - Day 24!
The Christmas/Winter Holiday Blog Hop is by a group of very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are showing off their paper crafting skills and inspirational ideas using Stampin' Up! products.
My card does not utilize the traditional Christmas colors but it definitely does not lack in the Christmas spirit! I utilized Stampin' Up!'s Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper (DSP) and coordinated it with Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Whisper White card stock. One of my favorite holiday movies is The Polar Express. If you've never seen The Polar Express (you must go rent it immediately!! - just kidding) the movie is all about Christmas spirit and believing in things that cannot always be seen. Stampin' Up!'s Just Beclause stamp set fits in perfectly with the spirit (and belief) of Christmas. I utilized two of Stampin' Up!'s punches for today's card - the Scallop Edge Punch and the Modern Label. I adhered two black brads onto the ends of the Modern Label which remind me of the buttons on Santa's coat.
