Day 27 - CCC - Pals Paper Arts Challenge

Hi Everyone!  I have a super simple card for you today for my Christmas Creations Countdown (CCC).  This card fits perfectly with this weeks Pals Paper Arts Challenge KISS (Keep it Simple, Sweetie).  Today's card is all about paper and Grosgrain Ribbon.  The card base is out of Very Vanilla card stock.  With a layer of Old Olive card stock and then a piece of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper on top.  The sentiment at the bottom is from the Season of Joy stamp set in Old Olive Ink.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon to create a holiday package feel.  A Vintage Cream colored button with twine and a snowflake (both non SU!) finish this simple card off.

Day 28 - CCC - Winter Tree

Good Morning All!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Today's card came together really quick.  I made this card after my mini-vacation to Maine - so I think that is why it has a "woodsie" feel to it. 

The card base is Kraft paper (which is one of my favorites at the moment).  I adhered some scrap plaid paper as a frame (non SU!) and then stamped the tree (Season of Friendship stamp set) in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla card stock.  I rounded the corners of the Very Vanilla Card Stock with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Punch (1/2").  To finish off the card I glued colored buttons with twine tied in the center as tree ornaments and adhered a bow to the bottom of the tree.
