I was recently asked how I take pictures of the projects I complete to post onto my blog. I have to admit, my way of taking pictures is by no means the "right way" but it works for me at the moment (especially with my budget).
I take my pictures on one of my kitchen counters that backs up to my brick fireplace. I like the simple background the white brick gives (doesn't contrast with the project). I take my desk lamp and arrange it so that I am getting as much light on the project as possible. Once I take the picture and upload it onto my PC I use photo editing software (Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2006 Editor - came with my PC) to brighten/sharpen the colors before uploading them onto my blog. This set up works for me at the moment but I hope to create something that will maximize the colors/picture taking of my projects in the future. Once I do I will share it with you.
